Day 1 - Arriving in Puglia
Dear All,
We made it, after arriving in Puglia mid morning we made our way down the coast to the stunning hotel The Borgo Egnazia our home for the next few days. The Borgo Egnazia hotel was built to replicate a traditional Apulian village, it certainly hasn’t disappointed. We have spent the day resting, unpacking and putting the final touches to what will hopefully proves to be a successful venture for both Moody Merchant and everyone interested.

As I began our Letters from Puglia my first stop was this clever olive tree made from old book pages, it greeted us and stood proudly in the hotel Reception. I felt this so poignant to our journey each leaf feeling like a Letter from Puglia.

Today is a slow day. This evening I am hoping to capture some early evening beautiful images from around the resort.
Tomorrow we are looking forward to our Motorboat Excursion and seeing Polignano A Mare and the caves built into the cliffs. We also have a lovely lunch booked overlooking the Adriatic Sea, which I am very much looking forward to.
Today is rest, Tomorrow let the exploring begin.
Best Wishes
