Fasano Ceramics

On my travels to Grottaglie in Puglia, we met Franco, Nicoletta and their family, exploring the caves where they create their beautiful Italian ceramics. We loved watching the skilled makers at work, from splattering patterns with birch twigs to Franco painting the faces himself.

I chose bespoke olive green and Bordeaux red colours for Moody Merchant, bringing together bowls, platters, plates and jugs to mix and enjoy at home. I’m over the moon to share this collection and a little of the story behind it with you.
